This week at Chaos HQ...

...we are thinking about papas: those wonderful guys who make the world go round and carry us home when we fall over exhausted.
You'll never walk alone.
They do this and a hundred other things without Entonox, an epidural, or a decent night's rest. They ask for nothing in return, and they never stop.

But we notice. And even if we are sometimes too tired to remark upon it, our heart's are filled with joy and gratitude.

Thanks Papa Bear, we love you.

  1. Yes, when we were young and our Papas sat us on top of his mighty shoulders, we were learning early on what it felt like to be standing on the shoulders of giants.

  6. Very timely post: My boy took the day off work to kid-wrangle while I got to languish unwell in bed, and I'm very grateful to him for this, because he didn't have to, and I didn't ask, but he did it anyway. Bless <3

  8. How sweet of your boy - my boy does little acts of kindness all the time too, without me even asking. We are lucky ladies :)
