This week at Chaos HQ

Two years ago the world's cutest little boy was born and I became an auntie. I've always wanted to be one of those.
Chain gang. 
Now when I see my girls play with their cousin I remember that old line from Ecclesiastes: "Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken." 


I love to watch them grow up together.

    Great picture! Fab that they get on so well. I became a mum and an aunty within ten weeks - my mum thought all her Christmases came at once and it's lovely for us that the babies are all so close in age. People found it funny how excited to be an aunty I was given that I was pregnant at the time!

    Great quote! Being an aunt is the best isn't it? Just wish my two were closer in distance to my nephew, as I feel we are missing out on him growing up! :( Emma

    It is awesome, I agree. I just wish miene neffe was closer too - he's in Berlin and I am in London, so our gatherings are not as frequent as I'd like them to be. They are sort of growing up together via skype...

    The promotion to auntie is almost more exciting than the promotion to mum, I agree! Maybe this is because the promotion to auntie doesn't involve the same cooking, cleaning, surveillance, fire prevention and generalized slave duties as parental promotion does ;)

    Your luck mum - how wonderful that the cousins will get to grow up together so close in age.
