This week at Chaos HQ

We are donating the title 'Chaos' to the leaders of our fine city and instead going by 'Really Quite Chilled Out HQ.' We are wondering if pillagers are powered by mozzarella, because they looted the local Dominoes.

Maybe Christmas doesn't come from a store?
We are comparing the Camden of this week (above) to the Camden of last week, which was magical sort of grown-up Disneyland.

Where troubles melt like lemon drops.
We found ourselves there on a sunny summer's afternoon, chasing the rainbows that exist between generations.
Pots of gold.
We suspect Camden will have a cup of tea be back to its old tricks in no time.

  1. It all sounds a bit scary from over here. I really hope it settles down soon.

  2. Me too! In fairness, I think it looks scarier in the pictures than on the ground...although that is heavily contingient on where you happen to be standing.

  3. Those photos put it all in perspective really. So sad what people have done to their own communities. You stay safe! x

  4. Thanks Lindsey, we are mostly staying safe by having a very limited social life - most weeks this is not considered such an asset ;)

hope you are all ok! I think it raises so many issues I cannot even begin to think about it without getting angry or depressed!

  6. They looted the Domino's... that about sums it up, the whole idiocracy behind it. Ahh, it still makes me so angry! Good to read that you are ok.

  7. An odd looting choice, no? Hope the pizza joints and everything else survived okay in your bit of London :)
